DotMobi Launches Developer's Guide and Ready.Mobi
Did you know that twice as many people have access to a cell phone or other mobile device than they do a PC? I didn't until I read the DotMobi Web Developer's Guide, and I couldn't resist getting a little excited about my .mobi domains!
The DotMobi Web Developer's Guide is designed, as the title hints at, to help web developers create .mobi-friendly web content. It shows web developers how to make .mobi sites look better, work better, and load faster.
Then there's also this new service called Ready.Mobi (formerly known as "MobiReady"). When web developers create a .mobi site, they can actually check out the site to see how well they've done at making it compatible and easy to use on mobile devices.
Ready.Mobi is pretty slick! If you own .mobi domains that you actually have content on, all you have to do is enter the URL and it analyzes your site and tells you what needs to be fixed… and even how to fix it.
Looks like DotMobi has done it again. Better content capabilities means more companies are going to be looking to buy .mobi domains. I've got to say I'm pretty certain that many of us who have been holding on to our .mobi stash are looking at a serious ROI on our purchases.
