Number of .vn domains reaches 34,000
Dot VN, Inc., the exclusive registrar and marketer for Vietnam's domain extension .vn, announced that the total number of registered .vn domains increased from 22,629 domains in 2005 to over 34,000 domains in 2006 (an increase of more than 50%). This is a respectable
number considering the pricey domain registration fee of $70 to $200 per year. Vietnam has an estimated 84 million inhabitants and a GDP of $3,025 per capita.
