The Domain Name Wire commented, "Moniker has proven it can take the domain sales process to the end-user. Hopefully other end user markets will be approached in the future." The Daily Domainer agrees. An end user is someone who buys a domain to actually develop it, instead of putting up a PPC (pay-per-click) site and hoping that someone else will come along in the future and buy the domain for a higher price. Approaching other industries that "get it" to the world of domains is the logical next step. Any ideas on where to start?

  1. That's very interesting. Thanks for the post. I personally would have thought that adult-related domains would go for much higher amounts, and never could have imagined that shemale.com would be on top. Is there such a big market for shemales? I'm not experienced in this specific field, but would like to have an opinion from someone experienced whether the prices are alright or way off (too high or much too low). Thanks!

    Says you. :P

  3. [...] * From the Daily Domainer; shemale.com, handjob.com and other interesting domains were the latest pricey domains auctioned off by Moniker. Anybody want to guess where the big money is in the online world? [...]
