Tandberg.com Leads Weekly Domain Sales Chart
DNJournal's latest weekly top 20 list of reported domain sales is shown below (for the complete list go here). This week's top sale, Tandberg.com, is an example of the type of domain sales that normally remain private. The domain was sold in late 2006 from one Norwegian company, Tandberg Data, to another Norwegian company, Tandberg, and the information only became available last week when Tandberg Data released an overview of "financial highlights" for the fourth quarter of 2006.
As usual we have hyperlinked the domain names so we can come back in a few weeks to check out the developed websites that will have come to life on many of these domains. (There are several adult domains on the list; do not click on them if you are offended by potential adult content.)
