.mobi Now Allows 1 Year Registration Term
The dotMobi registry recently lowered the minimum registration term for .mobi domains from 2 years to 1 year. This move was necessary and expected as it will attract new domain investors to the .mobi extension. As of right now, at least GoDaddy ($14.99/year) and Moniker ($12.95/year) allow you to register .mobi domains for 1 year only. Other registrars (click here for a full list) are expected to follow suit.
