Sedo Adds Helpful Notices To IDN Auctions

Just a few days ago we reported on The Trouble With Bogus IDN Auctions, and domainer discussion boards were filled with related complaints.

Sedo has now changed how they present IDN auctions in two essential ways:

  1. In the auction listing overview, a big IDN tag is now visible right next to the domain:sedo auctions idn 1
  2. And in the auction listing itself, they added a non-ambiguous text mentioning the actual punycode domain:

sedo auction idn 2
