According to the Spanish domain blog Domisfera, the Sedo domain auctions for busca.com (”search” n., “search!” or “he/she searches”), empresas.com (”companies”) and economia.com (”economy”) ended without a winner today. Shares of direct navigation company Marchex fell Tuesday after JMP Securities analyst William Morrison downgraded the stock from "Market Outperform" to "Market Perform" and predicted "a few quarters of rocky performance".

At the time of writing, Argentinian domains (.com.ar) are the only domains in the world that can be registered absolutely free. That might be about to change. And strikingly, both domainers and end users are interested in getting the Argentinian domain registry to start charging annual maintenance fees on all registered domains.
