The international law firm Pinsent Masons reports that online betting firm Sportingbet has failed to force the handover of sportingbet.net and sportingbets.biz from its Canadian owner Zubee.com for the second time. Sportingbet failed to establish its rights to the domain. From the WIPO ruling:
The domain viajes.es was sold for €60,000. This is the highest publicly reported .es sale ever and an indication that the boom in Spanish-language domain names continues.
The three Spanish-language domains busca.com ("search" n., "search!" or "he/she searches"), empresas.com ("companies") and economia.com ("economy") have attracted bids of €101,000, €61,000 and €35,000 respectively on Sedo's domain auction service.
